Snap & Glue Set

By Edward Traxler

Everyone has bought things that seemed to be wonderful when reading the advertisement – and then once we get our grubby paws on them .. they suck. This isn't a review of one of those but just the opposite. Something that is exactly what is advertised! What a concept!

The “Snap and Glue Set Square”. I ran across this originally through a link from a modeling website to eBay.  The “Item Location” was/is Istanbul, Turkey. I just looked and it is listed on eBay for EUR 14.95. That's about $20.95 with EUR 6.95 shipping.

What is it? A set of four magnetic 'squares' that will hold things like a model building square while you glue it. The link below has plenty of photos and a video showing the square in use. Take a few minutes and look at the photos and watch the video.

Hey. It works. It REALLY does. The magnets are so strong that they will attract each other from about 2” away.

Here's a picture showing them in use .. me gluing up 1:24 framing.
