From Oso Publishing Company (2002) and written by Dennis Blake Thompson, Richard Duff and Steve Hauff, The Climax Locomotive is a highly detailed book cataloging the history of the Climax Manufacturing Company.
Consisting of nearly 500 pages and hundreds of photos, the book chronicles just about every Climax locomotive produced. All of the photos are beautifully reproduced in black and white and scale drawings of locomotives and logging equipment, some by the late Al Armitage, are included as well.

Finally, a list of locomotive shop records, production records and owners round out the information.
I have owned this book for a couple of years now and I am still amazed at the level of detail that went into documenting and writing the book. It is a "must own" for anyone who is a fan of logging or history.
