Models in a Barn
Greetings all,
I bought a barn in which I have relieved the strain of overstorage of my house, and best of all moved all my hobby and craft items into as well as having room for a reasonable HO layout with all the trimmings. Known as a Lofted Barn at 10'x20' with a real loft at each end my storage wars ended and my life changed forever, except when my wife threatens me with banishment to the new barn. The included photos show the progress of the whole affair and yes there is a coffee maker and room to spare for a bunk bed if I ever do get sent to the barn. Note; no advertising is intended here but this a Weather King lofted barn and we happen to have an outlet where I live so my wife and I agreed to purchase this new addition much to our mutual relief from the crowded 3rd bedroom, which is now back to normal. Please note something like this barn might save a relationship, it's better than being sent to the "doghouse" !

There are a lot of solutions to this universal problem but this is a "classy" one John. Mark my words though, you'll soon be shopping for an "addittion". There's no such thing as too much space!!!
Here are more photos of the trains in a barn, now there's a novel idea. By the way, this is the only way to go as it is a vast improvement over a 9'x11' spare bedroom. And I have all the room for shelving (already up) for my 1/35th scale armor dioramas and my collection of 1/48th scale WW2 aircraft are hung from the ceiling. And there is a second Dept. 56 RR scene on a shelf that I'm including for my wife as a permanent Christmas scene. And there's still plenty of space.
